XKD, XWD series electrostatic precipitators with small diameter or sharp corona electrodes can reduce the corona initiation voltage, which is conducive to corona discharge, and has better discharge performance, that is, it can generate sufficient corona current under the design voltage to cause corona. Low voltage, matching with the dust collecting electrode, such as high dust content in the flue gas, especially when the electric field space charge of the electric precipitator limits the corona current, the thorn-like corona electrode with strong discharge performance should be used to collect dust The current density on the electrode is uniform.
According to the state of corona glow point, the corona electrode can be divided into two kinds with or without fixed corona glow point.
(1) Corona electrode without fixed corona glow point" This type of corona electrode has no protruding tip along the length, and is also called a non-burr electrode, such as round wire, star wire, twisted wire, spiral wire, etc.
Light round line. The discharge intensity of the light circle changes with the diameter, that is, the smaller the diameter, the lower the corona initiation voltage, and the higher the discharge intensity. In order to maintain the vertical and accurate pole distance of the wire when suspended, a heavy hammer of 2 to 6 kg should be hung. In order to prevent the corona wire from being damaged during spark discharge in the rapping process, the corona wire should not be too thin. Generally, nickel-chromium stainless steel or alloy steel wire with a diameter of 1.5~3.8mm is used, and its discharge intensity is inversely proportional to the diameter, that is, the diameter of the corona wire is small, the initial corona voltage is low, and the discharge intensity is high. Usually use φ2. 5~3mm heat-resistant alloy steel (nickel-chromium wire, nickel-manganese wire, etc.), which is easy to manufacture. The heavy-hammer suspended rigid frame structure is often used, but when the polar line is too thin, it is easy to break and cause a short circuit.
Star line. The star-shaped corona wire has sharp corners on all sides, the corona initiation voltage is low, and the discharge intensity is high. Due to its relatively large cross-sectional area (side length is about 4mmx 4mm), it is durable and easy to manufacture. It is also fixed by means of pipe-frame tensioning. Commonly used ordinary steel with φ4~6mm is twisted into a twist shape by drawing, which has high mechanical strength and is not easy to break. Due to the long sharp edges on the four sides, the corona initiation voltage is low, the discharge is uniform, and the corona current is large. Frame structure is mostly used, which is suitable for occasions with low dust concentration.
The common specification of star line is 4mrn×4rnrn, and the four edges are arcs with a smaller radius. Its discharge performance is similar to that of a small-diameter round line, but its cross-sectional area is much larger than that of a 2mm round line and has good strength. Can be rolled. Wet electrostatic precipitator and electric mist eliminator should be covered with lead on-line when using star wire.
Helix. Spiral wire is characterized by easy installation, dust is easy to fall off when rapping, discharge performance is similar to round wire, generally made of spring steel, the diameter of the spiral wire is 2.5mm. The electric dust removal technology adopted by some enterprises has the corona electrode as a spiral wire.
